Quality Power Engineering is an electrical company formed to find and solve problems – whatever they may be – in the electrical field.
From many years of experience and a network of knowledgeable associate companies we provide consumers with advice on security of supply, back-up power, renewable energy, energy savings and even providing power solutions where ESKOM or municipality power cannot supply.
History of Quality Power Engineering
The origin of the business began in 1995, with the formation of Quality of Supply Technologies cc. The original vision was to focus on solving electrical problems and providing services in the area of Power Quality and standby power solutions. The company, known as Quality Power Engineering (Pty) Ltd since 2004, is now structured as a proprietary limited organisation. (abbrev. QPE)
Consulting services
Needs evaluation, measurements and conceptual designs for:
- Client’s electrical installations
- Evaluation of standby power requirements and solutions up to 10 Mega Watts.
- Measurements and size calculations for of uninterrupted power supplies up to 600kVA
- Design, supply and installation of guaranteed surge suppression systems, to protect equipment against lightning and switching transients.
- Investigation of earthing systems for industrial, commercial and IT installations
- Interpretation of the requirements of SABS / SANS codes of practice 10142, 0108, 048 etc
